Just for fun. I made this slideshow to send to my husband on Valentine’s Day but I just could not wait… I made it and sent it to him immediately. Then, he went and sent it to everyone he knows. With pictures of him in it I’m really surprised that he shared it.

In my pursuit of continuing photography education, I came across this workshop up in CT by a young and very talented wedding photographer, Aurora Onorato. We spent a day at the beautiful New Haven Lawn Club learning, networking and photographing models. All the wedding attire was provided by Megan Dumaine, owner of The Wedding Embassy. Flowers were provided by Melissa Bonoffski of Stylish Boolms and Elizabeth Wecker of Fleur Scent. Hair and makeup was beautifully done by Kimberly Bordeaux, Samantha and Erin of the Shine Salon. Our gracious hostess, Christine Perusse of NHLC Catering, did a fantastic job proving us with amazing food.
It’s great to spend a full day shooting alongside some amazing photographers and learning from each other. In this industry you have to stay on top of the latest techniques and you have to continuously refine your skills. I love to learn and I simply LOVE to photograph people.
Here are some shots:

Here is something I wanted to share from a dear, dear friend. She has been a great inspiration and someone I look up to. Dawn Davis is one of the nicest, most genuine and one of the kindest people I have met in a long time. Her husband, Bob, is also someone I’m blessed to have met. I thank my lucky stars every day because they have walked in to my path through life.

I wanted to share something very exciting that’s happened. As you may already know, I have decided to expand my business to include wedding photography. I’ve always loved the creative aspect of wedding photography but not the stress that can come with it.
Well, I bit the bullet and I am now available to do wedding photography.

I met this little guy when he was just three months old. Mommy brought him in to model for Bebe Willow and now here he is at age one. Yikes! They grow so fast.
Back for a birthday session this time, he is the cutest little athlete with gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that melts your heart.

Yesterday was a very busy day in the studio. Lots of sessions, met some new clients and some old ones. I love this time of year in the studio. I love to see the kids all dressed up for holiday portraits, it just makes my holidays. Cards this year have been unbelievably beautiful. I won’t post these sessions until after the holidays. I don’t want to show the images until my clients send out the cards. They are so happy and excited when they come to pick them up that I just don’t want to ruin the surprise. Having said that, I wanted to share an image of a holiday session I just did. These beautiful girls ( all three of them ) are simply amazing in more ways that one. Mom knows what I mean. They did great and they set the happy tone for the rest of the day. It was great to see the big smiles.
